Cline is known for Zinfandel, of which they make many, as well as primarily Rhone varietals. Organically grown fruit form three distinct vineyard terroirs help to guide the winemaker’s hand. Some of these vineyards are over 120 years old, can you say gnarly? The grounds are scenic and the tasting attendants are friendly. There are also animals to visit as well. Visit the California Missions Museum while you’re at Cline, this is especially great for kids at the 4th grade level for they will study the missions as a part of California state history. Open daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you have time and patient children, sister winery, Jacuzzi Cellars resides conveniently across the street. They feature primarily Italian varietals and extra virgin olive oil tasting too!
